I may be off a bit on the numbers but there were a lot of people there tonight. I'm guessing there were about 500-600 people there tonight including leaders. The size of our Senior High Youth group is ginormous. I just recently got comfortable counting to four and now I'm being asked to do double-duty. I know I'm now considered old but what's with having 8 downs on offense in a game of touch football? It's just not right. I did notice during a game of football with the fellas (and Hannah J) that he might have been more comfortable playing the game on concrete rather than grass.just an observation. He's got great rapport with the kids and already seems at ease in Wichita. Our new Youth Director, Ben may actually talk more smack than me. The same held true for Matt as he had 'skunked' several of his peers Y Space Words (Joel?) Myspace Comments earlier in the evening but was finding Brent to be a worthy opponent. From what I could tell, Brent had finally come across some competition. Tonight we got to endure (er, partake) of the latter as he played game after game after game with some kid named, Matt.
Pastor Brent is real good at what he does.preachin' and ping pong. I'm in for an adventure and I'm hoping the guys in my group are up for it too.
The cool thing is Point B is yet to be determined and I really don't care.
